What are they?
A range of high quality dispense fonts, in different forms and shapes, that include a secondary cooling reservoir which uses existing water supply to chill the thermal mass of the beer tap and create condensation at the point of dispense.
Where are they used?
COOLit fonts are located on the bar counter, mostly in single form. Where the beer temperature needs to be chilled and there is the need for a cooled form of dispense font to stop the ambient heat from warming the beer tap.
How it works?
COOLit secondary cooling is achieved by creating a hollow chamber from two concentric chambers which are located at the location of the beer tap. This chamber includes a water supply inlet and outlet which can be connected to the main water supply. The inner diameter of the cooling chamber is threaded so that a conventional beer tap can be threaded into the chamber. As the chilled water circulates the chamber, thermal conduction ensures that the temperature of the beer tap is maintained at the temperature of the water supply line. This ensures that beer temperature is maintained whilst creating an aesthetically pleasing condensation which is evident on the outer surface of the unit.
